Nedra’s purpose is centered on creating organizational health. She is in her third decade of effective, committed work in this field, most often for state, federal and tribal government leaders, teams, and their organizational partners.
She serves as both coach and impartial process guide for leaders, teams and partner organizations. What that means is she helps clients gain even more self-knowledge and awareness of mindset, behaviors and desired outcomes; finds out what people are ready for (by asking and listening); and then custom designs coaching programs or other work to help participants themselves create the best possible outcomes together.
She is a credentialed Associate Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation; mediator on the U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution’s National Roster of Conflict Resolution Professionals & Native Network, and a seasoned third party workshop designer, and facili-trainer. For example she has:
- Successfully delivered over 5000 hours of professional coaching in the past 5 years. This has also included intensely-practical and efficientways for leaders to receive and use feedback directly. Her leader clients have called this positively 'game changing' for them, along with significant benefits for their management team members and others with a stake in their organization's work.
- Mediated or facilitated more than 300 complex environmental and public policy conflicts in the western U.S. and nationally. Besides public land management and environmental issues (click here to see Yellowstone example ), these public issues have included Medicaid re-design in Montana and in Indian Country (appointed by Governor-appointed group of legislators and advocates), mental health policy, and a range of other more current projects.
- Provided expert consultation and design for clients to invent their own systems and approaches that prevent un-necessary conflict before it develops.
Nedra is mom to two lively adult children. She lives with her husband Scott in the heart of Helena – especially happy for the frequent, easy hike or bike trips into the hills just minutes from their back door.
